Aussies win toss and bat against India

Australia has won the toss and will bat first against India in the World Cup warm-up match at Adelaide Oval.

Both nations have named extended teams for the fixture, with Australian allrounder Shane Watson returning from hamstring tightness which ruled him out of last Sunday’s tri-series final against England.

The Australians have named 13 players for the match, with wicketkeeper Brad Haddin and paceman Josh Hazlewood not listed to bat.

India submitted 15 players to play some part in a game to start in warm, sunny conditions.
