The top weight for the Melbourne Cup ‘Order Of St George’ will not head to Australia to contest the race.
On the top of weights with the Irish galloper is former Cup winner Protectionist who is unlikely to line-up in the race also which will mean that weights for the 2016 Melbourne Cup will go up .5kg with the top weight in the race likely to carry 57kg.
