Four of the world’s top 10 men’s tennis players will finalise their Australian Open preparations at the 2018 Kooyong Classic.
Wimbledon finalist Marin Cilic, two-time champion and titleholder David Goffin, French Open semi-finalist Dominic Thiem and rising Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta have all committed to the round-robin exhibition event from January 9-12.
The star trio will be joined by US Open finalist Kevin Anderson, popular Frenchman Richard Gasquet and Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka in the eight-man field.
One spot is still to be filled with two months to go before the tournament’s opening serve.
