Serena Williams has retained her top spot in the women’s tennis rankings.

There was no change in the WTA top 10 with Williams leading the way on 9660 points ahead of China’s Li Na (7540).

Romania’s Simona Halep was spending her second week at a career-high third place after reaching the French Open final in Paris.

French Open winner Maria Sharapova is fifth.
