Bernard Tomic has beaten eighth-seeded German Benjamin Becker to book a place in the quarter-finals of the Mexico Open in Acapulco.
The Australian won the second-round match 6-4 3-6 6-2 on Wednesday (Thursday (AEDT) and faces the winner of the late clash between countryman Marinko Matosevic and Spanish second seed David Ferrer.
