Australian Alex de Minaur’s semi-final against Gilles Simon at the Sydney International has been postponed until Saturday morning due to rain.
De Minaur was due to take on Simon in the semi-final on Friday night, but persistent rain means only the women’s semi-final will begin if the weather clears.
The men’s final will still go ahead as planned on Saturday night, meaning either Simon or De Minaur will have to play two matches in one day when the winner meets Andreas Seppi in the decider.
