Australian tennis star Samantha Stosur has landed in a treacherous quarter of the French Open draw featuring world No.1 Angelique Kerber and returning Czech champion Petra Kvitova.
Stosur, the 24th seed and former finalist, opens against Slovakian Kristina Kucova and could strike Kvitova in the third round and Kerber in the last 16.
Fellow Australian Daria Gavrilova has drawn Belgian Elise Mertens in the first round.
