Samantha Stosur has progressed to the third round of the Miami Open with a win over Frenchwoman Pauline Parmentier.
Stosur defeated Parmentier 6-1 3-6 6-0.
Australia’s Stosur will play Venus Williams in the next round, the American holding a 6-1 advantage in head-to-head meetings.
