Tennis champion Serena Williams has denied she was coached during the controversial US Open final earlier this month.
The 23-time slam winner said she didn’t understand why her coach admitted he was giving her instructions in an interview on Network Ten’s The Sunday Project.
“I just don’t understand what he was talking about because I asked him, you weren’t coaching, we don’t have signals, we’ve never had signals and he said he made a motion,” Ms Williams told the program.
