Hosts Spain have won both singles matches against Canada to win the inaugural edition of the new-look Davis Cup at La Caja Magica.
Rafael Nadal won the decisive second match as he fought off Denis Shapovalov 6-3 7-6 (9-7) after Roberto Bautista Agut had beaten Felix Auger-Aliassime 7-6 (7-3) 6-2 earlier on Sunday.
The title success is Spain’s sixth and first since 2011.
