Nick Kyrgios has downed American third seed John Isner in three tight sets to reach the final of the ATP tour event in Mexico.

The Australian, on his third match point, has triumphed 7-5 5-7 7-6 (9-7) in two hours and 22 minutes in Acapulco.

Kyrgios will face world No.3 Alexander Zverev in the final after the German’s 7-6 (7-0) 6-3 victory over Britain’s Cameron Norrie.

Second-seeded Zverev has claimed 10 ATP Tour titles since his maiden win in 2016, winning five times in 2017 and four last year.
