Kyrgios leads way in Wimbledon juniors

Promising Australian juniors Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis have both progressed to the boys singles third round at Wimbledon.

Top seed Kyrgios was impressive in defeating Austrian Lucas Miedler 6-2 6-4 on Tuesday.

Kokkinakis, who lost to Kyrgios in the Australian Open junior final, earned a hard-fought 7-6 (8-6) 7-5 win over Swede Daniel Windahl.

The duo are the last Australians remaining in the juniors at Wimbledon after Bradley Mousley lost to Enzo Couacaud on Tuesday.

Kyrgios will face Korean Hyeon Chung for a place in the quarter-finals while Kokkinakis meets Serbian fourth seed Laslo Djere.
