Nick Kyrgios will lead Australia into battle in this weekend’s Davis Cup World Group playoff against Slovakia in Sydney.

The Australian No.1 has been drawn to play Slovakian No.2 Andrej Martin in Friday’s opening singles rubber at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre.

Bernard Tomic will play Slovakian No.1 Jozef Kovalik in the second singles match before Australian pair Sam Groth and John Peers face Martin and Igor Zelenay in Saturday’s doubles rubber.
