Nick Kyrgios will play former Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic in an explosive first-round Australian Open encounter in Melbourne.
Unseeded at a grand glam for the first time since 2015 after falling to No.50 in the world, Kyrgios will have no time to ease into the tournament against the power-serving Canadian.
Australian No.1 Alex de Minaur has a much smoother path to the second round, the 27th seed opening against Portugal’s Pedro Sousa.
