Thanasi Kokkinakis has ruled himself out of Australia’s Davis Cup tie with the USA in March as he continues his rehabilitation from a shoulder injury.
The 19-year-old on Wednesday said he was unlikely to resume playing until April, with the first-round clash at Kooyong scheduled for March 4-6.
“I won’t be ready for Davis Cup,” Kokkinakis said at Melbourne Park.
