World no.1 Angelique Kerber admits she’s feeling the pressure that comes with top billing at the Australian Open.
But the likeable German said she wouldn’t have it any other way as she seeks to defend her maiden grand slam won last January.
“Of course I’m feeling it (the pressure) but I’m getting used to it from the last few months … I have had a great preparation and I’m looking forward to starting,” the 28-year-old told reporters in Melbourne on Thursday.
