Former Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber has survived a scare from Taiwanese veteran Hsieh Su-Wei to advance to the quarter-finals.
Germany’s Kerber was rattled by the crafty 32-year-old but regrouped for a 4-6 7-5 6-2 victory.
The former world No.1 will take on in-form American Madison Keys in the final eight.
