Australian tennis star Sam Groth has earned a wildcard into the men’s main draw for next month’s Sydney International.
The Newcombe Medallist only missed direct entry by three rankings spots and has been rewarded for his best-ever season in 2015.
Groth joins top-seeded Davis Cup teammate Bernard Tomic in the Australian Open lead-up event getting underway at Olympic Park on January 10.
