Australian eighth seed Daria Gavrilova has recorded the biggest win of her career, thrashing top seed and two-time grand slam champion Angelique Kerber to go through to the semi-finals of the Hong Kong Open tennis tournament.
Gavrilova has beaten the German world No.1 6-3 6-1 to reach the last four.
She will play Bethanie Mattek-Sands or France’s Kristina Mladenovic.
