Delayed Raonic through in Florida tennis

Milos Raonic was made to wait for most of the day due to a rain delay but eventually won his round of 16 match in straight sets at the Delray Beach Open in Florida.

The world No.4 beat Borna Coric 6-3 7-6 (7-2) to set up a meeting with Kyle Edmund, who reached the last eight after a 6-3 3-6 6-2 win over Yen-Hsun Lu.

Third seed Jack Sock of the US dropped only five games in a 6-4 6-1 success over Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, the same scoreline by which countryman Steve Johnson, seeded fifth, beat Yoshihito Nishioka.
