Fourth seed Daniil Medvedev has recorded a tough three-set win over Milos Raonic to book his place in the Brisbane International semi-finals.

Medvedev fought back to win 6-7 (2-7) 6-3 6-4 at Pat Rafter Arena on Friday, with the decisive third-set break coming at 4-4 when his Canadian opponent hit a cross-court forehand well wide.

The 22-year-old Russian will face top-ranked Australian Alex de Minaur or French former world No.5 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga for a place in the final.
