The Spanish former world No.1, who has yet to fully shrug off the lingering effects of his knee problems, beat Argentina’s David Nalbandian 6-2 6-3 in Sao Paulo for Sunday’s title.
World No.1 Novak Djokovic retains his comfortable lead over Roger Federer with the top ten places unchanged.
