Bolt bows out of Open at hands of Zverev

Alex Bolt’s shock run at the Australian Open hit a road-block on Saturday night in the form of world No.4 Alexander Zverev.

Playing his first match on Rod Laver Arena, the the wild-haired South Australian wildcard couldn’t match the Russian star in their third round meeting, falling 6-3 6-3 6-2.

Zverev, 21, next faces 16th-seeded Canadian Milos Raonic, who earlier had a straight sets win over Frenchman Pierre-Hughes Herbert.
