A TAB punter is keenly awaiting the commencement of Day 10 action at the 2021 Australian Open as they are on the verge of a $308,000 collect if two results go the right way at Rod Laver Arena today.

Last Thursday, the TAB customer in question plonked $25,000 at the odds of $12.32 on four players to reach the semi-finals of the 2021 Australian Open.

The four players selected by the TAB customer were Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, Ash Barty and Daniil Medvedev.

Williams booked her berth in the semi-finals last night with a blistering 6-3 6-3 victory over Simona Halep and then in the following quarter-final, Djokovic battled tenaciously with Alexander Zverev and was victorious 6-7 6-2 6-4 7-6.

From 11 o’clock this morning, Barty will be aiming to secure her semi-final spot and is the $1,18 favourite at TAB over Karolina Muchova ($4.60).

If Barty progresses to the semi-finals, the TAB punter will be sweating on Medvedev ($1.38) to book his place in the last four against his Russian compatriot Andrey Rublev ($3).
