After three weeks travelling and a “home” game in Mudgee, the Wanderers finally get to play in their nominal home venue of Spotless Stadium.
This kicks off what they hope will be their final year of nomadic existence with Parramatta Stadium’s rebuild nearing completion.
Newcastle are nothing like the side that finished as last season’s runners up, although it is worth noting that the team is still very much in development.
The Jets are still winless and just don’t look like they have the firepower up front to match the Wanderers here as Oriol Rieria is the difference maker.
