It’s not quite time to panic for Wellington, but after three consecutive defeats, the Nix really have to sort themselves out.

Prior to last weekend they did have the excuse of losing to Auckland and Macarthur, but getting demolished by the Wanderers should have alarm bells ringing.

Despite that, they go into this match as pretty clear favourites, mostly because they are taking on a Jets team that has been quite poor this season.

Fresh off the bye, Newcastle did beat Perth in their last outing on December 14, and their attack will be full of confidence after that showing.

Attack has not been an issue for Wellington either, scoring in seven of their eight games this season and in each of their last five, so rather than trying to convince yourself this is the week things magically turn around, take both teams to score.
