They battled hard after that and even drew first blood but a 93rd minute heartbreaker from Halloran saw the Phoenix and United share the points.

This match looks fairly evenly poised with the Phoenix slight favourites ($2.35) over the Mariners ($2.70) who are yet to play a game.

I’m leaning towards the Phoenix in this one mainly because they are a game ahead.

They are two evenly matched sides and I think the extra game under Wellington’s belt could be the difference maker in this one.
