A busy seven days for Tottenham wraps up with a visit from Manchester United, closing out a trio of tough fixtures.
Last weekend’s trip to Chelsea and the visit of Copenhagen in the Champions League is somewhat offset by the fact they have not had to travel outside London.
As for Manchester United it looked like they were starting to find some form winning three in a row but had their bubble burst by Forest last weekend, having to settle for a 2-2 draw.
Under Ange Postecoglou, Spurs had the advantage over United, winning all four meetings last season including the Europa League Final, and taking four points in the 2023/2024 season.
However not all appears to be well with Spurs under Thomas Frank, with that post match blow up with his players on the weekend a real cause for concern.
Even that convincing win in the Champions League might not cure their ails immediately.
It’s going to be a tight affair, but I like United’s position heading into this a lot more than where Spurs are at.
