An enticing top-four clash between first-placed Sydney FC and fourth-placed Perth which is shaping up to be a really exciting match-up.

In-form Sydney FC are unstoppable at the moment and even when they’ve been under pressure this season, they still manage to get the desired result.

They did it against Wellington a couple of weeks ago and again against Victory last week, coming from behind to score their fifth win in a row.

Fullback Rhyan Grant (pictured above) is being talked about as a future Socceroos player and it’s easy to see why.

He has an incredible work rate which is essential in the fullback role where he needs to get forward at every opportunity while also making sure things are tight at the back.

Glory’s counter attacking style has reaped rewards in the last few seasons, producing plenty of goals.

Andy Keogh (pictured below) has again been the main man up front but the real danger for Glory is they can score from anywhere with many players capable of scoring.

Sydney FC (13 goals) & Perth (11 goals) rank first and equal third in scoring in the A-League so I expect more of the same in this match.

KEY BATTLE: Alex Wilkinson v Andy Keogh

Sydney FC have only conceded one goal this season but they’ll be fully tested against an equally high scoring Glory side.

Keogh is always dangerous and has already scored four goals this season but Wilkinson has been a main reason why Sydney have conceded only one goal and should be able to keep Keogh quiet.

The verdict

The Sky Blues are just too strong at the moment and I can’t see Glory stopping their momentum.
