Stoke kept Queens Park Rangers winless in the English Premier League with a 1-0 win at home on Saturday.

QPR is 11 matches into the season without tasting victory, increasing the pressure on manager Mark Hughes.

Stoke, meanwhile, earned only its second win of the campaign and remained in mid-table thanks to Charlie Adams’ first goal for the club since he arrived from Liverpool in the off-season.

Jon Walters headed on a free kick and Adams put it away in the 52nd minute.
