The Socceroos may have booked their ticket to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil but Australia’s biggest bookmaker, Sportingbet, believes the Australian’s can already begin planning their return journey.
The Socceroos are odds-on at $1.50 with Sportingbet to fail to progress past the group stage. Sportingbet rates the Socceroos $3 chances to make it into the round of 16.
“We wish the Socceroos every success but based on their world cup qualifying performances, we don’t expect they’ll have long to work on their tans in Brazil,”

The Socceroos are $8.50 to be eliminated in the quarter-finals and $34.00 to be eliminated in the semi-finals.
Sportingbet rates the Socceroos an $81 chance to make it to the World Cup Final, and $101 to be World Cup Champions.
Brazil is a $4.50 favourite to be 2014 World Cup champions ahead of Argentina at $5.50, Germany at $6.00 and Spain at $6.50.
