France winger Franck Ribery would be happy to end his career at Bayern Munich.

Ribery has helped Bayern remain a Bundesliga title contender, scoring 10 goals in 22 games to leave him only one short of his best total in the league.

Ribery, who is likely to play against Germany in Wednesday’s friendly in Bremen, said in Tuesday’s edition of France Football magazine that he is not tempted to join another club.

“I’m nearly 29 and I’ve got a contract that runs until 2015, so why not (stay)? I’m not thinking about leaving,” Ribery said. “My wife and my children are happy in Munich. We’ve just bought a nice house. I’ve been at Bayern for five seasons, I’ve got close friends like (defender) Daniel (van Buyten). This club has become my second family, my sporting family.”

Ribery became an instant hit among Bayern fans when he joined from Marseille four seasons ago.

“I’m popular here. At Bayern, in Germany, I feel happy, that’s the word. I’m really loving it,” Ribery said. “The next Champions League final is being held in the Allianz Arena … I hope 2012 will be a great year for me.”

Ribery has scored 64 goals in 176 games for Bayern in all competitions, and the club needs him to stay at his best.

Bayern is four points behind Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, and last week lost to FC Basel 1-0 in the first leg of the last 16 in the Champions League.
