Perth are coming off a 4-1 defeat to Sydney FC and will be disappointed they didn’t make more of the chances they created.

But most frustrating will be the way they conceded the first goal scored by Milos Ninkovic.

An embarrassing mix up between Dino Djubic and Joel Reddy allowed the Serb to score the easiest of goals and set Sydney on their way to a convincing victory.

Glory are another team who have been both impressive and ordinary at times this season. They have plenty of goals in them but are also capable of letting them in as seen in the defeat to Sydney.

Adelaide’s slow start to the season continued on Friday only managing a draw with Roar.

There has been a lot of tension in the Adelaide camp with reports of two teammates involved in a fight in the lead-up to the Roar game but that does not necessarily mean things are bad in the group.

In fact, it can often be the opposite with players so frustrated and wanting to turn things around, that those tensions can boil over in training or the dressing room.

But the Reds will draw a lot of confidence in the way they came back from being a goal down.

They are similar to the Wanderers in that their performances have not brought about the goals or points they deserve so perhaps that draw will be the turning point.

Perth will be more adventurous at home and want to make up for the Sydney loss while Adelaide will look to build on the Roar result.

KEY BATTLE: Rostyn Griffiths v Marcelo Carrusca

It’s great to see Carrusca (pictured above) back and it’s just what Adelaide needed with injuries to key men another headache this season.

Having started his first match against Roar, he’ll be feeling fitter and sharper providing an entertaining match up against Griffiths who is always solid in the Glory midfield and should overpower the Argentine.

The verdict

Glory will make home advantage count and prove too strong for the travelling Adelaide
