Ecuador will be in for a much rougher time on Matchday 2 when they face fellow first up winners the Netherlands.
For one, the Group A favourites will be much better organised than a lacklustre Qatar side and could welcome Memphis Depay back into the starting lineup after he was limited to a cameo in his side’s win over Senegal.
His return should provide a bit of a spark to a Dutch attack that was left wanting for most of their opening match.
While Ecuador did score twice against Qatar, it was a match that was bereft of clear cut chances and it’s tough to see them finding more avenues to goal here.
Look for the Dutch to pick up a win and secure a spot in the Round of 16.
