There was a lot to be impressed with as Melbourne City dominated Western United in the first leg of the Semi Final, putting them on the precipice of another A-League Grand Final appearance.

That was their fifth straight head to head win over Western United and the fourth consecutive clean sheet, which makes a tough task for John Aloisi’s side even more challenging.

We have seen Western United score in bunches this season and they are more than capable of putting together a performance that produces three goals, but scoring three (or four) more than City seems like a massive task that might just be a bit beyond them.

With nothing left to lose, Western are going to go for it but it will likely leave them too wide open at the back.

I’m expecting plenty of goals in this one but unfortunately for Western, they will be scored by both sides.
