The new boys got their season off to a perfect start with a 1-0 win in Round 1 but were brought back to earth by the Mariners last weekend going down 2-0.

Wellington is a dark horse contender for honours this season and their opening match defeat to Sydney FC has not put me off them at all.

We have seen the best and the worst of Macarthur already and while they will have to work hard to score, Wellington’s backline is hardly a brick wall.
