Moving this leg away from Anfield might actually be the best thing that could have happened to Liverpool since they apparently cannot win there.

Over the weekend their domestic losing streak at their former fortress was extended to six matches, not an ideal trend when you are trying to defend a 2-0 aggregate lead.

For all of their Premier League struggles, Liverpool at least had the confidence and fortitude to put together a strong showing in the first leg, but you cannot shake the feeling that they are still quite vulnerable.

It’s not as though Leipzig were out of the first leg either, having 12 shots but only forcing a pair of saves from Alisson.

Since dropping the first leg, their domestic results have been very encouraging as well, with four consecutive wins and outscoring their opponents 11-2 in that time.

You could almost talk yourself into backing Leipzig to turn around the deficit at the healthy price of $7 but there is value to be had on the “visitors” in the 90 minute result market.
