Finally off the mark in 2021/22 via last weekend’s victory, Newcastle will look to make it two wins from two when visiting Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

After 14 matches without a victory, the Magpies claimed their first top-flight triumph of the campaign through a 1-0 result against Burnley at St. James’ Park.

Callum Wilson netted the decisive goal during the 40th minute of that fixture, increasing his Premiership tally to six in 11 appearances this season.

Meanwhile, Leicester was most recently in action against Aston Villa at Villa Park, suffering a 2-1 defeat despite taking the lead through Harvey Barnes during the 14th minute.

The Foxes have now won just one of their last six EPL matches.

Leicester was also unsuccessful when last playing host to Newcastle, falling 4-2 in May to mark the Magpies’ third win from four EPL matches at this venue.
