South Korea might have come away from their opening match against Uruguay with a point but there’s an argument to be made that Ghana looked a lot better in their defeat to Portugal.
They were so close to snatching a point and were gallant in defeat, however there is a major query over whether or not they will be able to back it up against a tough and disciplined South Korean side.
Perhaps the biggest disadvantage for both of these teams is that they will play before their fellow Group H rivals which means neither will be able to leave much to chance by playing for a draw here.
It has been an excellent tournament for Asian teams so far and knowing they have to face Portugal up next, I’ll back South Korea to grind out a win and give themselves a bit to play for on the final day.
