Racing Genk says forward Kevin De Bruyne will transfer to Chelsea on a five-year deal.
Belgium’s league champion said the deal was completed on Tuesday, on the last day of the winter transfer window. The 20-year-old De Bruyne is to finish his season in Belgium before going to the London club over the summer.
Last season, Genk goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois also transferred to Chelsea but has been put on loan to Atletico Madrid. De Bruyne will also join former Anderlecht forward Romelu Lukaku, who moved to London last year, but has spent most of his time in the reserves.
Financial details were not disclosed.
