There are two approaches to take with this game, the simple one is that Liverpool have won their first five Premier League fixtures.

However the slightly more (perhaps overly) complex line of thought does make a decent case for Palace getting something from this game at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles are yet to lose this season with two wins and three draws, and have drawn or won five of the last seven meetings between these clubs including the Community Shield in August that went to penalties.

As good of an argument as that may be, I keep coming back to Liverpool getting off to a strong start and frankly, I’ll be more annoyed if I take Palace and the Reds win than if I back the reigning champions and they lose.
