Palace have been a mixed bag this season coming off a European fixture and they will be playing AZ Alkmaar prior to this clash with Brighton.

So far this year they have a win, a draw and two defeats off Conference League ties although one defeat did come against Arsenal and there is a real case to be made that would have happened whenever it was played.

That does bring Brighton into calculations a bit more here, although the Seagulls have been a little bit too inconsistent to back with any sort of real confidence.
