It’s fair to say that Chelsea will probably feel the better of the two sides after emerging from Real Madrid with a 1-1 draw last week.

Timo Werner’s wastefulness in front of goal might have cost them a potential advantage to bring back to Stamford Bridge but Chelsea will still feel like they have the upper hand on Real as it stands.

Scoring on Thomas Tuchel’s defence has not been an easy task (unless you are West Brom) and I can see Real battering the door down for the majority of the match as they try and chase an upset win here.

Everything about this tie as it is currently constituted screams extra time and possibly penalties, so that is the angle I will take when finding a play for this fixture.

We aren’t going to be in for a Champions League classic that finishes 4-4, both sides will take a safety first approach and a 1-1 final score offers a decent price.
