After relinquishing top spot on the Premier League table last weekend, Chelsea will return to top-flight action against Leeds at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues capitulated against West Ham during the second half of last weekend’s 3-2 defeat at the London Stadium, giving up a 2-1 lead Mason Mount had facilitated by both scoring and assisting in the opening 45 minutes.
As well as bouncing back from that result, Chelsea will be looking to avoid a third straight EPL home match without victory, having previously played out a pair of 1-1 draws against Burnley and Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Leeds will be looking to propel itself further from the relegation zone and improve a 2-4-1 W/D/L record from its last seven EPL matches.
That record includes a last-ditch 2-2 draw with Brentford last weekend, during which former Chelsea player Patrick Bamford scored in the 95th minute after returning from almost three months on the sidelines.
