Central Coast v Perth | Thursday, November 24, 7.50pm (AEDT), Central Coast Stadium, 7.50pm (AEDT)

It’s a short turnaround for Central Coast, who drew with the Jets 1-1 in the F3 derby on Sunday.

The Mariners were looking for their first derby win in six outings but after leading against Newcastle, they’ll be disappointed to have conceded the equaliser and have Liam Rose sent off in the space of two minutes.

Now they face Perth who are having no trouble in finding the back of the net. Their main threat has been once again Andy Keogh who is always deadly.

He can score with both feet and his head and already has six goals to his name.

The mariners will try to dominate possession as has been the style Paul Okon has implemented while Glory will look to catch them out on the break.

KEY BATTLE: Jake McGing v Andy Keogh

McGing (pictured above) scored on the weekend but it will be his defensive duties which will be tested in this match. Keogh is now on a roll and will be ready to pounce on any mistake.

After letting slip a 3-0 lead against the Mariners in round 1, Perth will be eager to make them pay this time but they’ll be coming up against a much improved Mariners outfit.

Having said that, I think Perth’s counter attacking style will catch the Mariners out.
