As disappointing as losing a cup final is for a football team, the Mariners will have to re-focus ahead of their A-League Men’s clash with Macarthur in Gosford.

Their last league win came on December 18 against the Wanderers before almost a month off due to Covid postponements and they have now dropped three straight in all competitions.

Macarthur’s form is similarly spotty with a draw and two defeats from their last three outings however that does include over a month off in that time.

For me this one comes down to how focused the Mariners are and if they are good to go at kickoff, they should come away with a much needed three points.
