The Central Coast Mariners and Brisbane Roar will do battle at the home of the former on Saturday afternoon.
Its been another forgettable season for the Mariners, who were unable to build off a rare win in Week 14 when they suffered a comfortable 3-0 loss to Western United most recently. At this point, everyone at the club must be scratching their heads, wondering what they can possibly do to restore some of the pride and glory that once upon a time delivered a Championship.
While they have certainly slipped under the radar, the Roar have been undefeated in their last four matches and enter this one off the back of an outstanding performance and result over the in-form Phoenix. This is a great opportunity for them and if they are any chance of building into a credible finals side, they’ll be winning.
