Sunderland hit the ground running in their return to the top flight, knocking off the Hammers 3-0 in front of their die-hard home fanbase.

They’ll be aiming to claim another three competition points when they travel to Turf Moore to take on a Clarets outfit who were on the receiving end of a 3-0 belting to another London based outfit last week, Tottenham.

Sunderland are unbeaten across their last three away fixtures against Burnley (1W,2D), although they did only manage nine wins from 23 road games in the Championship last season.

Alternatively, the Clarets went the entire season without suffering a defeat at Turf Moore, though they did split the points on nine occasions (14W,9D) with only Preston North End (12D) drawing more at home.

This is a fixture that neither side can afford to lose, I’m expecting a tight, nervous affair, with both clubs coming away with a point.
