With Sydney in top form and Brisbane playing some good football, I’m really looking forward to this top 3 clash.
The Roar boast a couple of former Socceroos in Brett Holman and Tommy Oar (pictured above), and both have shown how important they are for Brisbane.
Holman had to play up front against Adelaide as Jamie Maclaren was away with the Socceroos.
While not his best position, he still managed to score and helped secure an important draw against the Reds.
Holman is better suited coming deep from midfield while Oar’s strength is taking on players and using his pace to get behind defences and set up play.
Sydney FC look unbeatable at the moment and confidence is sky high.
They have a squad which has quality all over the park and players who look like they are really enjoying their football.
None more so than Milos Ninkovic (pictured below). A creative player who has stepped it up this year and is one of the form players in the A-League at this present time. He’s exceptional on the ball and has shown his scoring touch this season as well.
KEY BATTLE: Jack Hingert v Milos Ninkovic
Hingert has a tough game ahead of him to keep Ninkovic quiet. Not only is the Serb intelligent and creative, but he also has an incredible work rate and he will again be key for Sydney in this one.
The verdict
Sydney are just too strong at the moment and even when they have been tested they find a way to win. With goals coming from everywhere, it will be hard for Roar to contain them.
