Brisbane v Perth | Sunday, October 30, 5pm (AEDT), Suncorp Stadium

The Roar notched their maiden win of the season following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the Mariners.

John Aloisi’s men bounced back from that big defeat against the Jets in round 2 and can take a lot of positives out of the game.

On paper, the Roar boast a line-up full of attacking power but they haven’t delivered on that potential just yet.

Jamie Maclaren (pictured above) didn’t score but he looked dangerous and kept getting into goal-scoring situations so it won’t be long before he hits form.

Glory, on the other hand, haven’t had any problems with their attack and have scored eight goals in the opening three rounds.

Prolific striker Andy Keogh helped himself to a hat-trick against City.

The Glory star has a natural strikers instinct, he knows where to be and can score with both feet and his head.

But he’s not the only attacking weapon with Diego Castro and Adam Taggart, who was injured in round 1, also deadly in front of goal.

KEY BATTLE: DeVere v Keogh

After just scoring the perfect hat trick, Keogh (pictured above) will be hungry for more. Luke DeVere is used to marking top strikers but will have his hands full this week.

The Verdict

Roar are back at home after two weeks on the road and will make the home advantage count.
